SpinStar® magnetic stirring bars are designed to create a deep mixing vortex at relatively slow speeds, ideal for applications that require slow, thorough mixing. The star shape of the bars fits the inside diameter of most commonly used beakers. Each stirring bar features an alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. These stirring bars are manufactured in a facility registered to ISO 9001:2015 standards, as verified by SGS certification, and are autoclave safe.
