High quality Teflon encapsulated magnetic stirring bars ensure efficient mixing with consistent results. The multi-faceted polygon shape, featuring an increased surface area, creates added turbulence compared to similar sized smooth cylindrical bars to provide thorough mixing. The absence of a pivot ring allows the spin bar to remain close to the bottom of the vessel, enabling effective "scraping" of solids. These stirring bars offer optimal coupling with magnetic spindrive as the entire length of the stir bar is in close contact. Each bar is constructed with an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, which provides superior chemical compatibility. The product is manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
