The high-quality Teflon encapsulated magnetic stirring bars are designed for efficient mixing and consistent results, featuring a multi-faceted polygon shape that increases surface area to create added turbulence compared to similar-sized smooth cylindrical bars. This design allows the Spinbar to stay close to the bottom of the vessel, enabling effective scraping of solids due to the absence of a pivot ring. The entire length of the stir bar maintains optimal coupling with the magnetic Spindrive, ensuring thorough mixing. Made with an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, these stirring bars offer superior chemical compatibility. They are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification, and are autoclave safe.
