The 3M Secure Click™ particulate filter P95 D7P71 is designed to be attached to the 3M Secure Click™ cartridges D8000 series, offering particulate protection when used with 3M Secure Click™ facepieces. To attach two D7P71 filters to each cartridge, the 3M Secure Click™ filter retainer D701 is required. This particulate filter is essential in environments where certain airborne particulates, as well as specific vapors or acid gases, may be present. The D7P71 filters are suitable for filtering solids from the processing of minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, and flour, as well as liquid or non-oil-based particles from sprays that do not emit harmful vapors and metal fumes generated from welding, brazing, and cutting operations. However, it is important to note that the D7P71 filters are not suitable for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), sandblasting, or those containing asbestos. The 3M Secure Click N95 particulate filters D7N11 should be changed if they become dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through, and filters must be replaced after 40 hours of use or 30 days in environments with only oil aerosols.
