The 3M Secure Click Multi-Gas/Vapor Cartridge D8006 is NIOSH-approved for protection against specific organic vapors, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen chloride, chlorine/ammonia/methylamine/formaldehyde, chlorine dioxide, hydrogen fluoride, and hydrogen sulfide, when used with approved 3M Secure Click facepieces. Featuring a Secure Click connection style, the cartridge allows for a quick and simple connection to the facepiece; users simply align and push until a click is heard, ensuring confidence in proper installation. The dual-flow technology of the Secure Click cartridges enhances breathability, with two cartridges on each respirator creating a total of four airflow paths through the world's first quad-flow cartridge system for improved comfort. It is important to note that the D8006 should not be used in environments that pose an immediate danger to life or health (IDLH), during sandblasting, or in settings with particulates unless combined with approved particulate filters. Cartridges should be replaced according to a well-documented change-out schedule or sooner if any smell, taste, or irritation from contaminants is experienced.
