The Hex Socket Plug 300# is made of galvanized steel and features a size of 1/4 inch. It adheres to extra heavy class 300 specifications including ANSI B1.20.1 for threads, B16.3 for dimensions, and has a pressure rating according to A.S.T.M. A 197 for material and A153 for galvanizing. The pressure ratings are as follows: 300 P.S.I for saturated steam for sizes 1/4 inch to 1 inch, 2000 P.S.I at 150 degrees W.O.G for sizes 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch, and 1500 P.S.I at 150 degrees W.O.G for sizes 2-1/2 inch to 3 inch.
