The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting 3/4 x 3/8 reducing coupling NPT female is designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). It features pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B1.20.1 and ANSI B16.15 standards. The chrome plated brass construction provides superior corrosion resistance, ease of installation due to the material’s relative softness, and ensures a tight seal. These fittings are easy to clean, resist dirt and bacteria accumulation, and maintain a shiny finish. Note that these fittings contain lead and, therefore, are not permitted by federal law for installation in potable water systems within the USA and its territories.
