The Atlas Copco high-efficiency coalescing filter is designed to remove oil aerosols, wet dust, and rough particles down to 1.0 ppm, providing protection for air-powered tools, processes, and final products. This filter is ISO 8573.1 certified and is suggested for clean, dry air in commercial and industrial applications, meeting today's stringent quality requirements. It features a replaceable cartridge, with replacement recommended yearly or every 8000 hours, offering a longer lifespan compared to filters rated for 4000 hours or less. The unit incorporates Nautilus multi-wrapped media technology, combining a coarse 3D-structured layer/barrier for efficient oil drainage and high-efficiency glass fiber for a low-pressure drop and optimal filtration results. Constructed with anodized aluminum housing and powder coating, the filter is protected by a special anodized treatment both inside and outside. Additional features include external ribs for a secure grip during cartridge replacement, a strong stainless-steel core, double O-rings for a sturdy seal against leakage, and a liner that prevents contact with the filter media. The service indicator provides maintenance alerts, and the push-in element and drain connection facilitate effortless replacement. The bottom cap design enhances drainage efficiency, preventing re-entry of oil droplets into the air stream.
