The Atlas Copco high-efficiency coalescing filter is designed to effectively remove oil aerosols, wet dust, and rough particles down to 1.0 ppm, ensuring the protection of air-powered tools, processes, and final products. It is ISO 8573.1 certified and is suggested for clean, dry air in commercial and industrial applications, meeting stringent quality requirements. The filter features a replaceable cartridge, which is recommended for replacement yearly or every 8000 hours, offering a longer lifespan compared to other filters rated to 4000 hours or less. The filter utilizes Nautilus multi-wrapped media technology, with a coarse 3D-structured layer for efficient oil drainage and high-efficiency glass fiber that provides a low-pressure drop and optimal filtration results. It has an anodized aluminum housing with powder coating, enhanced by a special anodized treatment for protection both inside and outside. The design includes external ribs for a firm grip during cartridge replacement, a strong stainless-steel core, and double O-rings for a sturdy seal against leakage. Additional features include a liner to prevent contact with media, a service indicator for preventive maintenance alerts, a push-in element, and a drain connection for straightforward replacement. The bottom cap is specifically designed to enhance the drainage rate, preventing the re-entry of oil droplets into the air stream.
