The Atlas Copco high-efficiency coalescing filter is engineered to remove oil aerosols, wet dust, and rough particles down to 1.0 PPM, thereby protecting air-powered tools, processes, and final products. This filter is ISO 8573.1 certified and is suggested for clean, dry air in commercial and industrial applications, complying with stringent quality requirements. It features a replaceable cartridge, with a recommended replacement interval of yearly or every 8000 hours, offering a longer lifespan compared to other filters rated for 4000 hours or less. The filter utilizes Nautilus multi-wrapped media technology, with a coarse 3D-structured layer/barrier for efficient oil drainage and high-efficiency glass fiber for low-pressure drop and optimal filtration results. Built with an anodized aluminum housing that includes powder coating and special anodized treatment inside and outside, it incorporates external ribs for a firm grip during cartridge replacement. The design includes a strong stainless-steel core and double O-rings for a sturdy seal against leakage, while a liner prevents contact with the media. For cost-saving maintenance, a service indicator provides preventive maintenance alerts, and a push-in element and drain connection facilitate effortless replacement. Enhanced drainage ensures pure air by preventing the re-entry of oil droplets into the air stream, and the bottom cap of the filter is specifically designed to increase the drainage rate.
