The Atlas Copco high-efficiency coalescing filter is designed to remove oil aerosols, wet dust, and rough particles down to 1.0 ppm, ensuring protection for air-powered tools, processes, and final products. It is ISO 8573.1 certified and recommended for clean, dry air in commercial and industrial applications, meeting stringent quality requirements. The filter features a replaceable cartridge, which should be replaced yearly or every 8000 hours, offering a longer lifespan compared to other filters rated for 4000 hours or less. It incorporates Nautilus multi-wrapped media technology that includes a coarse 3D-structured layer for efficient oil drainage and high-efficiency glass fiber for a low-pressure drop and optimal filtration results. The anodized aluminum housing with powder coating is treated both inside and out, while external ribs provide a firm grip during cartridge replacement. The filter also features a strong stainless-steel core, double O-rings for a sturdy seal against leakage, and a liner to prevent contact with the media, enhancing performance and durability. Additionally, it includes a service indicator for preventive maintenance alerts, a push-in element and drain connection for effortless replacement, and a bottom cap designed to increase drainage rate and prevent the re-entry of oil droplets into the air stream.
