The 40 x 48 Odyssey® SD open deck pallet features a design optimized for load stability and includes optional steel reinforcements and permanent molded-in frictional elements, making it suitable for diverse applications such as food processing, cold storage, dry goods, agriculture, raw materials, and finished goods storage. This rackable plastic pallet minimizes product damage associated with wood pallets and ensures dimensional consistency, which is ideal for automated equipment. It can accommodate a truckload quantity of 510 pallets and has been validated by Orbis® to have approximately 36 times the lifespan of a traditional 40 x 48-inch whitewood stringer pallet, based on a study conducted by the Virginia Tech Center for Packaging and Unit Load Design using the FASTRACK life-cycle analysis method.
