The exclusive blend of polymers found in the PetroPad™ transforms hazardous hydrocarbons from incidental spills and leaks into a non-hazardous solid. The large PetroPad™ model 83986 measures 35-13/16 in W x 5/8 in D x 53-7/8 in H (91 cm W x 1.6 cm D x 137 cm H) and has a capacity of up to 5.3 gal (20.2 L). Reusable, portable, and washable, the PetroPad™ offers a flexible and cost-efficient solution for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous hydrocarbon waste. It is designed to allow rainwater to flow through while permanently solidifying hydrocarbons into a non-toxic solid, thereby helping to reduce environmental pollution. The PetroPad™ complies with TCLP leachate tests and EPA paint filter tests (9095B). Utilizing a smart polymer embedded in a geotextile fabric, this innovative technology quickly absorbs and solidifies hydrocarbons, trapping pollutants inside the pad and preventing uncontaminated water from passing through. The large PetroPad™ can contain up to 5.3 gallons of hydrocarbons, making it ideal for use with small mobile generators, pumps, and during maintenance and repairs. Its robust construction allows it to withstand rough handling, and to clean it, one can simply pressure wash it.
