Justrite® PetroPad™ smart polymer spill pads are designed to absorb and permanently solidify hydrocarbons such as oil, diesel, and gas. The medium PetroPad™ model 83984 measures 27-3/16 in W x 5/8 in D x 35-3/8 in H (69 cm W x 1.6 cm D x 90 cm H) and has a capacity of up to 2.8 gal (10.5 L). These pads are reusable, portable, washable, and easy to dispose of, making them a flexible and cost-efficient solution for handling and disposing of hazardous hydrocarbon waste. The unique design allows rainwater to flow through the absorbent pad while solidifying hydrocarbons into a non-toxic solid, thereby reducing environmental pollution. The PetroPad™ is compliant with the TCLP leachate test and the EPA paint filter test (9095B). Utilizing a smart polymer embedded in geotextile fabric, the technology effectively absorbs and solidifies hydrocarbons while trapping pollutants inside, preventing the outflow of uncontaminated water. Designed for small mobile generators, pumps, and maintenance operations, its robust construction and durable materials withstand rough handling. For maintenance, built-up dirt and debris can be removed by pressure washing.
