Justrite® Petropad™ Smart Polymer Spill Pads are designed to absorb and permanently solidify hydrocarbons such as oil, diesel, and gas. The exclusive polymer blend in the Petropad™ transforms hazardous hydrocarbons from spills and leaks into a non-hazardous solid. The small Petropad™ model 83982 measures 24 in W x 5/8 in D x 18-1/8 in H (61 cm W x 1.6 cm D x 46 cm H) and has a capacity of up to 1.2 gal (4.5 L). This reusable, portable, and washable pad is easy to dispose of and is suitable for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous hydrocarbon waste. It is designed to allow rainwater to flow through while solidifying hydrocarbons, thereby reducing environmental pollution. The Petropad™ complies with TCLP leachate testing and the EPA paint filter test (9095B). Equipped with smart polymer technology embedded in geotextile fabric, the pad absorbs and solidifies hydrocarbons efficiently while preventing the outflow of uncontaminated water, minimizing pollution and waste volume. The robust construction withstands rough handling, and the pad can be easily cleaned with a pressure washer.
