Justrite® PetroPad™ smart polymer spill pads are uniquely designed to absorb and permanently solidify hydrocarbons such as oil, diesel, and gas. The XL PetroPad™ model 83988 measures 53-7/8 in W x 5/8 in D x 53-7/8 in H (137 cm W x 1.6 cm D x 137 cm H) and has a capacity of up to 8 gal (30.4 L). These pads are reusable, portable, washable, and easy to dispose of, making them an efficient solution for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous hydrocarbon waste. The design allows rainwater to flow through the absorbent pad while permanently solidifying hydrocarbons into a non-toxic solid, thus helping to reduce environmental pollution. The PetroPad™ is compliant with the TCLP leachate test and the EPA paint filter test (9095B). Utilizing a smart polymer embedded in a geotextile fabric, this innovative technology quickly absorbs and solidifies hydrocarbons, trapping pollutants inside the pad and preventing the outflow of uncontaminated water. This reduces the volume of pollution and hazardous waste for disposal. The XL PetroPad™ is suitable for use in various settings, including generators, tower lights, fuel tanks, and onsite vehicles. Its robust construction and durable materials are designed to withstand rough handling and treatment, and built-up dirt and debris can be removed by pressure washing.
