The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter is designed to fit any system requiring a non-standard air filter size, featuring a flexible frame that ensures easy installation. This electrostatic filter is ten times more efficient than standard disposable filters, enhancing indoor air quality by trapping dust and allergens through an electrostatically charged design. The filter needs to be washed every 1-3 months, allowing for convenient reuse. Constructed with a sturdy frame for durability, the electrostatic air filter uses static electricity to attract and hold airborne particles, which are then released during washing. Additionally, it contains an EPA registered anti-microbial material to prevent mold and bacteria growth on the surface. Capable of capturing particles smaller than one micron, the Air-Care™ filter effectively reduces irritants like pollen, dust, pet dander, and smoke from the air. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1".
