The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter is designed for easy fitting in any system requiring a non-standard air filter size. This electrostatic filter is 10 times more efficient than standard disposable filters, providing cleaner and fresher indoor air. The filter is electrostatically charged to capture dust and allergens and can be easily washed every 1-3 months for reuse. The sturdy frame ensures longevity, making it a sustainable choice. The electrostatic mechanism employs static electricity generated by air flowing through a network of static-prone fibers to attract and hold airborne particles until they are released during washing. Additionally, the filter contains an EPA registered anti-microbial material to inhibit mold and bacteria growth on its surface. It effectively reduces irritants such as pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, with most particles being less than one micron. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1".
