The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter is designed to provide an efficient air filtration solution, featuring a flexible frame that ensures a secure fit in various non-standard air filter sizes. This electrostatic filter is 10 times more efficient than standard disposable filters and is electrostatically charged to capture dust and allergens effectively. Users can conveniently wash the filter every 1-3 months for continuous use, thanks to its durable construction. The filter utilizes static electricity generated by air passing through a network of static-prone fibers to attract and trap airborne particles, which are released during washing. Additionally, the Air-Care™ filter is crafted with an EPA registered anti-microbial material that inhibits mold and bacteria growth on its surface. It effectively reduces irritants in the air, such as pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, with the ability to capture particles smaller than one micron. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1".
