The Air-Care™ MERV 8-permanent and washable flexible air filter is designed for easy fitting in non-standard air filter sizes, featuring a sturdy frame that ensures long-lasting performance. This electrostatic air filter is 10 times more efficient than standard disposable filters, effectively trapping dust and allergens through a maze of static-prone fibers that generate an electrostatic charge. The filter can be washed every 1-3 months, facilitating a simple maintenance routine. It is constructed with an EPA registered anti-microbial material that helps inhibit mold and bacteria growth on its surface, targeting a wide range of airborne irritants such as pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, many of which are smaller than one micron. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1".
