The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter is designed for non-standard air filter sizes, providing an easy fit in various systems. This electrostatic filter is 10 times more efficient than standard disposable filters, effectively trapping dust and allergens within the home. It features a sturdy frame and is designed for washing every 1-3 months, ensuring continued use without the need for replacement. The filter utilizes a maze of static-prone fibers to generate an electrostatic charge that attracts airborne particles, which remain trapped until released during cleaning. Additionally, the Air-Care™ filters are infused with an EPA registered anti-microbial material to inhibit mold and bacteria growth on the filter surface. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1".
