The Air-Care™ MERV 8 permanent and washable flexible air filter includes a durable frame designed for easy fitting into any system that requires a non-standard air filter size. This electrostatic, permanent, and washable filter is ten times more efficient than standard disposable filters, cleaning the air inside your home and trapping dust and allergens effectively. With a washing frequency of every 1-3 months, the filter is easy to maintain. The electrostatic charge generated by the air flowing through a maze of static-prone fibers attracts and holds airborne particles until they are released during washing. Additionally, the filter contains an EPA registered anti-microbial material to inhibit mold and bacteria growth on its surface. The nominal depth of the filter ranges from 1/8" to 1". Air-Care™ electrostatic air filters are capable of capturing various irritants in the air, including pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke, effectively reducing the presence of particles smaller than one micron.
