The Starrett® 196 universal back plunger dial indicator features graduations to .001" and 0.02mm, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. With a shank diameter of 1/4" (6.3mm), this indicator includes three hardened contact points, allowing the operator to select the appropriate contact for different tasks. The indicator incorporates a 0-100 scale and offers a full rotation of the hand both to the right and left of zero, thus indicating any rise or drop in the work piece along with the corresponding amount of variation. The kit includes four attachments: a clamp, tool post holder, snug, and hole attachment.
