The Starrett® shaft alignment clamp is engineered for the rapid and precise alignment of motors, pumps, compressors, and similar equipment, addressing both radial and angular misalignment issues effectively. The kit includes a lightweight clamp constructed from black anodized aluminum, along with rigid 3/8" diameter stainless steel indicator posts available in three different lengths: 5", 7-7/16", and 9". Additionally, an extension plate is included to provide extra radial clearance, and a heavy-duty roller chain accommodates shafts up to 7-1/2" in diameter. The package features two Starrett® 81-141J indicators, and any excess roller chain can be conveniently secured to the side of the chain clamp. For enhanced functionality, a second shaft alignment clamp can be mounted opposite the first, serving as a vertical target for face alignment.
