The Starrett® shaft alignment clamp is designed for fast, precise alignment of motors, pumps, compressors, and similar applications, addressing both radial and angular misalignment problems and allowing for setup within minutes. It features a lightweight clamp design made of black anodized aluminum and includes rigid 3/8" diameter stainless steel indicator posts available in three lengths: 5", 7-7/16", and 9". An extension plate is provided for added radial clearance, while a heavy-duty roller chain accommodates shafts up to 7-1/2" in diameter. This set comes with two Starrett® 196B5 indicators, and any excess roller chain can be secured to the side of the chain clamp. Additionally, a second shaft alignment clamp can be mounted across from the first to serve as a vertical target for face alignment.
