The U Series heater is engineered to effectively reduce moisture from mechanical equipment and prevent freezing of pumps, valves, and farm machinery. It incorporates an Incoloy 840 Supperalloy heating element that offers superior corrosion resistance, and its built-in thermostat automatically shuts off when ambient temperatures exceed freezing. Designed for both horizontal and vertical mounting (with a maximum of 500W in vertical position), this heater features a durable steel guard that protects the heating element from foreign objects. The heater is ETL listed for use in damp locations, available in gray and stainless steel finishes, and meets ASSE-1060 requirements. It operates using convection and radiant heat, ensuring efficient performance, with a temperature control range provided by its built-in thermostat set between 40°F and 90°F. Additionally, it is constructed without moving parts, enhancing its reliability and simplifying maintenance. The heater is proudly made in the USA using both U.S. and global materials and is designed with a safety limit in the form of a capillary tube that runs the full length of the element.
