The U Series heater is engineered to effectively reduce moisture from mechanical equipment and prevent freezing of pumps, valves, and farm machinery, utilizing radiant heat absorbed by the metal equipment for superior performance over convection heaters. It features an Incoloy 840 Superalloy heating element, which offers exceptional corrosion resistance. The built-in thermostat operates within a range of 40° to 90°F and automatically shuts off when the ambient temperature exceeds freezing. Additional safety measures include a steel guard that protects the heating element from foreign objects and a capillary tube that runs the full length of the element for added safety. This heater can be mounted in either horizontal (full wattage) or vertical (up to 500W max) positions and is designed to operate without moving parts, ensuring reliability and minimal maintenance. The heater is ETL listed for use in damp locations, meets ASSE-1060 requirements, and is available in gray and stainless steel finishes. It is proudly made in the USA using U.S. and global materials.
