The Pump House Electric Utility Heater operates at 500W with a choice of 120V or 240V, making it suitable for installation in various locations where heat is necessary to prevent freezing in pipes, pumps, and other water, hydraulic, or oil-filled equipment. Designed for automatic, 24-hour protection, the heater features a set thermostat that can be adjusted between 40° to 70°F and is maintenance-free, allowing for unattended operation, which is particularly beneficial for remote areas. The unit's construction includes a steel sheath and an aluminum finned element that enhance heat dissipation and extend its lifespan by maintaining cooler sheath temperatures. The heater cabinet, made from neutral grey epoxy painted galvanized steel, provides corrosion protection and is designed to mount horizontally. The thermostat is enclosed within a tamperproof control box, ensuring no live voltage is present in the element area. This model is pre-wired for 240/208V but can be easily converted to 120V in the field. The power specifications include 500 watts running at 240V, along with amp ratings of 2.1A at 120V, 1.8A at 240V, and 4.2A in total. The unit must be hardwired for installation.
