Caloritech™ type PH electric control panel enclosure heaters are fan-forced air heaters specifically designed to maintain a stable temperature within enclosures, thereby preventing issues such as corrosion, freezing, or condensation that can adversely affect control panel components. The wattage requirement for these heaters is determined based on the surface area, insulation properties of the enclosure, and the temperature difference between the ambient and the enclosure. For optimal performance, the heater should be installed centrally and as low as feasible within the cabinet to ensure effective heat distribution, ideally mounted in a vertical position. Key features include CSA C/US approval, a fan auto/on switch, an externally adjustable thermostat with a range of 0°F to 100°F (-18°C to 38°C), a pilot light for 'heat on' indication, and a terminal strip for quick installation with both stranded and solid wire. Additionally, these heaters come equipped with high-temperature safety protection, a lightweight design, low maintenance requirements, and an aluminum alloy outer casing that protects the interior components. Options like DIN rail mounting are available as well. Specifications include a voltage of 120V, single phase (1~), 60 Hertz, and a minimum ambient operating temperature of -4°F (-20°C).
