The Ruffneck™ CR1 Triton™ unit heater is a corrosion-resistant washdown heater designed for non-hazardous locations and applications utilizing water pressure of less than 70 PSI. It features a washdown unit heater complete with an adjustable thermostat, operating at 480V 3Ø with a power output of 10kW. The Ruffneck™ CR1 Triton™ series represents a new generation of NEMA 4X corrosion-resistant washdown heaters, including the first UL-listed Type 4X heater with models available from 3 kW to 39 kW. The entire heater conforms to NEMA Type 4X standards and includes an epoxy-coated fan blade, a durable 16-gauge stainless-steel cabinet, and custom-configured stainless-steel heating elements. Additional options include built-in accessories, a stainless-steel wall/ceiling mounting kit, 120V controls, and a stainless-steel temperature high-limit switch. The heater offers increased safety and protection against water penetration, enhanced corrosion resistance for longer life, improved heat distribution, and greater flexibility in installation and mounting. It is designed for hardwired, indoor use and includes a blower for effective air circulation.
