The Justrite® Sure-Grip® undercounter safety cabinet with manual close doors (model 892300) is designed to conveniently store flammable liquids and can be placed safely beneath countertops and work benches. It has exterior dimensions of 35 in x 35 in x 22 in (889 mm x 889 mm x 559 mm) and features a recessed toe kick measuring 3.5 in H x 2.2 in D (89 mm H x 64 mm D), facilitating better ergonomics by allowing users to stand closer to the work surface. The cabinet is constructed from sturdy 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel with a double-wall design, providing 1.5 in (38 mm) of insulating air space for fire resistance. It holds a total capacity of 22 gal (83 L) for flammable liquids and features fully welded construction that maintains its squareness and reduces air gaps for enhanced fire protection. The high-performance, manual-close, self-latching doors open to a full 180 degrees and feature a fail-safe, 3-point stainless steel locking mechanism to secure the cabinet in the event of a fire. Continuous piano hinges ensure smooth closing, while the innovative U-Loc™ handle simplifies security engagement. Each cabinet comes equipped with a cylinder lock and key set, and trilingual Haz-Alert™ reflective warning labels ensure visibility under fire conditions. Additionally, model 892300 includes one patented, galvanized steel Spillslope® shelf that directs spills into a 2-in (51-mm) leak-tested sump compliant with EPA requirements. The adjustable shelves are positioned on 3-in (76-mm) centers, meet ANSI MH28.1 standards, and have a safe allowable load of 350 lbs (159 kg), with welded shelf hangers providing maximum stability.
