The Justrite® Sure-Grip® EX Slimline Safety Cabinet (model 892200) is specifically engineered for the safe storage and segregation of flammable liquids in environments where floor space is limited, such as labs, construction sites, and engineering settings. This cabinet features exterior dimensions of 65 in H x 23.25 in W x 18 in D (1651 mm H x 591 mm W x 457 mm D) and has a storage capacity of 22 gal (83 L) for flammable liquids. Constructed with a durable 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel double-wall and 1.5 in (38 mm) of insulating air space, the cabinet provides fire resistance and longevity through its fully welded construction which minimizes air gaps. The high-performance, manual-close, self-latching single door opens a full 180 degrees, ensuring secure closure for maximum fire protection. Continuous piano hinges allow for smooth closing, while the innovative U-Loc™ handle enhances security without the need for manual rotation to engage the latch. Each unit includes a cylinder lock and key set or can accommodate a user-supplied padlock. The cabinet is equipped with trilingual Haz-Alert™ reflective warning labels indicating "Flammable Keep Fire Away," which remain visible in fire conditions or power outages. Additionally, model 892200 features three patented, galvanized steel Spillslope® shelves that channel spills into a 2-in (51-mm) leak-tested sump, compliant with EPA requirements, and are adjustable on 3-in (76-mm) centers, meeting ANSI MH28.1 standards.
