The Commercial Kohler® Command Pro® is a professional-grade 4-cycle gasoline engine featuring an overhead valve (OHV) design with a cast iron cylinder liner and aluminum block. It includes a Quad-Clean™ all-season four-stage cyclonic air filter for effective engine protection, a large-capacity metal fuel tank for extended work periods, and three fuel filters (fill neck, in-tank, and carburetor inlet) for enhanced fuel management. This engine is equipped with a forged-steel crankshaft, electronic ignition, and a large-capacity muffler with a heat shield and spark arrestor, ensuring reliable operation. It also offers a built-in warm-air system for winter use, dual oil fills and drains, and an automatic low oil engine shutdown system for safety. The engine boasts CARB Tier 3 certification, a balance shaft for reduced vibration (14 HP), dual ball bearings, and features like a Stellite®-faced exhaust valve, carbon canister fuel cap, and a water trap to separate moisture in fuel. Additionally, it is designed with a swirl-induction combustion chamber, automatic compression release, and a mechanical governor. The user-friendly design includes easy access for throttle, choke, and fuel shutoff, alongside a sound-deadening alloy crankcase and a high-inertia flywheel.
