The patented Egeetouch® 5th generation smart padlock features a robust and rugged design suitable for outdoor and commercial use, boasting waterproof and freeze-proof capabilities (-4°F to +140°F or -20°C to 60°C), and high shackle cutting strength with corrosion resistance, passing the highest grade 6 ASTM salt-test. It incorporates dual intelligent proximity and historical access tracing technologies through NFC and Bluetooth, ensuring an unprecedented level of security and traceability. The padlock offers multiple access methods, including tapping with an Egeetouch® NFC tag, connecting via a Bluetooth-paired smartphone (compatible with Apple & Android), or using an Apple Watch and Samsung Gear S2/3. The padlock supports shared access and audit trails, allowing administrators to manage user access, including assigning and deleting users and setting timed-access features, while eliminating the need for conventional keys. The Egeetouch® app enables users to access the lock and program tags or fobs, and it also provides access management software for denoting specific access permissions based on time and frequency. Lock/unlock history can be tracked via audit trails to validate access by multiple users. The rechargeable battery lasts for 7,000 lock/unlock cycles per charge, and the padlock includes a patented security feature that prevents unauthorized access to its battery.
