The patented EgeeTouch® 5th generation smart padlock features a robust and rugged design suited for outdoor and commercial applications, boasting waterproof and freeze-proof characteristics, shackle cutting strength, and corrosion resistance that passes the highest grade 6 ASTM salt test. It incorporates dual intelligent proximity and historical access tracing technologies (NFC, Bluetooth + cloud-based) to provide an advanced level of security and traceability. The padlock offers multiple access methods: users can unlock it by simply pressing the shackle and tapping with an EgeeTouch® NFC tag, using a Bluetooth paired smartphone (compatible with both Apple and Android), or an Apple Watch and Samsung Gear S2/3. It operates effectively in outdoor environments with a temperature tolerance of -4°F to +140°F (-20°C to 60°C). Additionally, it allows for shared access and audit trails, enabling the assignment and deletion of users while facilitating timed-access features without the need for conventional keys. The EgeeTouch® app can be used for user management, providing access control to specific authorized individuals based on time periods and frequencies. The lock owner can track access history through the app, which conveniently stores lock information and IDs for easy retrieval or pairing with additional smart devices. The rechargeable battery supports up to 7,000 lock/unlock cycles per charge, and a patented security feature prevents access to the battery compartment while the padlock is locked.
