The patented EgeeTouch® 5th generation smart padlock features a robust and rugged design suitable for outdoor and commercial use, boasting waterproof and freeze-proof capabilities, shackle cutting strength, and corrosion resistance that passes the highest grade 6 ASTM salt-test. It is embedded with dual intelligent proximity and historical access tracing technologies, including NFC, Bluetooth, and cloud-based systems, offering a high level of security and traceability. The padlock offers three patented multi-access methods: simply pressing the shackle and tapping with an EgeeTouch® NFC tag, using any Bluetooth paired smartphone (Apple or Android), or unlocking with an Apple Watch or Samsung Gear S2/3. With dimensions designed for outdoor use and operational capabilities ranging from -4°F to +140°F (-20°C to 60°C), it allows for shared access with superior security through proximity and remote authentication, enabling the assignment and deletion of users and setting timed-access features. Users can manage access control based on time periods, track lock/unlock history, and retrieve information conveniently using the EgeeTouch® app. The rechargeable battery lasts for 7,000 cycles per charge, and a patented security feature prevents access to the battery compartment when the padlock is locked.
