The patented EgeeTouch® 5th generation smart padlock features a robust and rugged design suitable for outdoor and commercial use, boasting waterproof and freeze-proof capabilities, shackle cutting strength, and corrosion resistance, having passed the highest grade 6 ASTM salt-test. This advanced padlock incorporates dual intelligent proximity and historical access tracing technologies (NFC, Bluetooth + cloud-based) for exceptional security and traceability. It offers multiple access methods including tapping with an EgeeTouch® NFC tag, connecting via any Bluetooth paired smartphone (compatible with Apple and Android), or using an Apple Watch and Samsung Gear S2/3. The padlock operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -4°F to +140°F (-20°C to 60°C). User permissions can be managed with shared access and audit trails, allowing the assignment and deletion of users as well as timed-access features, eliminating the need for a physical key. The EgeeTouch® app enables users to manage access control, track lock/unlock history, and pair with other smart devices. The rechargeable battery supports up to 7,000 lock/unlock cycles per charge, and a patented security feature prevents access to the battery compartment while the padlock is secured.
