The system can compress 200' of rack or shelving into just 40' of organized storage, resulting in increased pick facings and SKU density, which leads to reduced travel and seek times for order fulfillment and restocking. The columns are constructed from high-strength industrial textiles that are mold-resistant, rust-proof, and flame-resistant. They are suspended from a patented steel track system made from pre-galvanized steel, compatible with any type of pallet rack beams. Each "cell" includes a unique location label holder for easy product identification, whether using traditional paper picking methods or advanced WMS/WCS systems for non-directed and directed put away and picking. The columns can slide side-to-side for rear access and are ergonomically designed to minimize the need for deep bending, stretching, or the use of step stools. The SpeedCell® ready bay includes SpeedCell® columns available in six standard sizes from XS to XXL, a pre-assembled steel set suspension system, Unex®-supplied racking, and a wire deck. The system features increased storage density by 40-60%, potential labor cost reductions of up to 40%, and an operating temperature range of -20°F to 180°F (-29°C to 82°C). The columns are hung from the suspension system using high-strength webbing for durability, while the SpeedCell® material consists of 13 oz. no-fray vinyl with interwoven mesh for added strength, and the cell base is supported by 2000 GSM corrugated plastic, with a weight capacity of 175 lbs per column and 35 lbs per cell location.
