This innovative system compresses 200' of rack or shelving into 40' of organized space, resulting in more pick facings and greater SKU density, which reduces travel and seek times during order fulfillment and restocking. The SpeedCell® columns, constructed from high-strength industrial textiles, are resistant to mold, rust, and flames, and are suspended from a patented steel track system made from pre-galvanized steel, compatible with any pallet rack beams. Each cell features a unique location label holder for easy product identification, supporting both basic paper picking and advanced warehouse management systems. The design allows for columns to slide side-to-side, providing easy access to rear columns while minimizing the need for bending, stretching, or using step stools. The SpeedCell® ready bay includes SpeedCell® columns in various sizes, a pre-assembled steel set suspension system, Unex®-supplied racking, and a wire deck. The features of this system include a 40-60% increase in storage density, up to a 40% reduction in labor costs, and ergonomic design with an operating temperature range of -20°F to 180°F (-29°C to 82°C). SpeedCell® is flame and mold resistant, with columns hung from the suspension system using high-strength webbing for durability. The SpeedCell® material consists of 13 oz. no-fray vinyl with an interwoven mesh for added strength, while the cell base is supported by 2000GSM corrugated plastic, providing a weight capacity of 240 lbs per column and 12 lbs per cell location.
