The ESD hard sole boot with ground ribbons is designed for mobile users in controlled environments focused on static control, specifically as part of the Transforming Technologies TX4000 ESD cleanroom garment system. This system protects the controlled environment from the primary sources of contamination and static found in cleanrooms: people. The TX4000 features a TX4000 ESD grid fabric composed of 99% polyester and 1% carbon, a PSTAT ESD hard sole with twill reinforcement, and a Hypalon side wall. It includes a combination of 1-inch elastic and webbing at the top of the closure with snap adjustment, along with a replaceable 18-inch internal ground ribbon attachment, while a 24-inch long ground ribbon is available for boots. The internal snaps allow for electrical connection to the coverall and ground ribbon, and color-coded straps denote size. The boots are reusable and launderable, compliant with ISO cleanroom standards of ISO 6 (Class 1000), and meet the standards for ANSI/ESD S20.20 and STM9.1 - Footwear, ensuring proper resistive characterization.
