The ESD hard sole boot with ground ribbons is specifically designed for mobile users in controlled environments concerned with static control. The Transforming Technologies TX4000 ESD cleanroom garment system effectively protects the controlled environment from the primary source of contamination and static in cleanrooms: people. The system addresses electrostatic charge, which can degrade or destroy products and equipment and attract unwanted particles, making control essential for a productive manufacturing process. The key features include TX4000 ESD grid fabric composed of 99% polyester and 1% carbon, a PSTAT ESD hard sole reinforced with twill, a Hypalon side wall, and a combination of 1" elastic and webbing at the top of the closure with a snap adjustment. It also includes a replaceable 18" internal ground ribbon attachment, with an option for a 24" long ground ribbon available for the boots, and internal snaps that connect electrically to the coverall and ground ribbon. Additionally, color-coded straps denote size, and the garment system is reusable and launderable. It meets ISO cleanroom standards of ISO 6 (Class 1000) and complies with ANSI/ESD S20.20 and STM9.1 for footwear resistive characterization.
