The ESD hard sole boot with ground ribbons is specifically designed for mobile users operating in controlled environments where static control is crucial. The Transforming Technologies TX4000 ESD cleanroom garment system effectively protects such environments from contamination caused by people, which is a primary source of both static and particulate matter. This system manages electrostatic charge—an invisible contaminant that can harm products and equipment while attracting unwanted debris. The TX4000 features a grid fabric composed of 99% polyester and 1% carbon, along with a PSTAT ESD hard sole reinforced with twill. The boot incorporates a Hypalon side wall, a combination of 1" elastic and webbing at the top of the closure with snap adjustment, and an internal ground ribbon attachment that can be replaced. Each boot includes an 18" internal ground ribbon, while a 24" ground ribbon is available for purchase. Internal snaps facilitate electrical connection to coveralls and ground ribbons, and color-coded straps identify sizes. The boots are reusable and launderable, conforming to ISO cleanroom standards of ISO 6 (Class 1000). They also meet the necessary requirements for ANSI/ESD S20.20 and STM9.1 regarding footwear, ensuring resistive characterization for enhanced safety and performance.
