The ESD hard sole boot with ground ribbons is a critical component of the Transforming Technologies TX4000 ESD cleanroom garment system, specifically designed for mobile users operating in controlled environments and concerned with static control. The kit includes boots made from TX4000 ESD grid fabric, composed of 99% polyester and 1% carbon, and features a PSTAT ESD hard sole reinforced with twill, a Hypalon sidewall, and a combination of 1" elastic and webbing at the top of the closure with snap adjustment. It comes with a replaceable 18" internal ground ribbon attachment, and an optional 24" long ground ribbon is available for the boots. Internal snaps facilitate electrical connection to the coverall and ground ribbon, while color-coded straps indicate size. The boots are reusable and launderable, compliant with ISO cleanroom standards (ISO 6, Class 1000), and meet the requirements set forth in ANSI/ESD S20.20 and STM9.1 for footwear. The product also features resistive characterization, making it suitable for use in environments where static charge control is essential.
