The ESD hard sole boot with ground ribbons is designed for mobile users in controlled environments focused on static control. The Transforming Technologies TX4000 ESD cleanroom garment system offers effective protection against the primary source of contamination and static in cleanrooms: people. Electrostatic charge poses a risk to product integrity and equipment functionality, as well as attracting unwanted particles. The TX4000 garment system is essential for maintaining control over these charges among mobile operators during manufacturing processes. Key features of the boot include TX4000 ESD grid fabric composed of 99% polyester and 1% carbon, a PSTAT ESD hard sole with twill reinforcement, and a Hypalon side wall. It features a combination of 1" elastic and webbing at the top of the closure with snap adjustment, and includes a replaceable 18" internal ground ribbon attachment, with an optional 24" long ground ribbon available. The internal snaps facilitate electrical connection to the coverall and ground ribbon, with color-coded straps indicating size. The boots are reusable, launderable, and compliant with ISO cleanroom standards, specifically ISO 6 (Class 1000), and meet the requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20 and STM9.1 for footwear resistive characterization.
