The ESD hard sole boot with ground ribbons is specifically designed for mobile users in controlled environments prioritizing static control. The Transforming Technologies TX4000 ESD cleanroom garment system effectively protects the controlled environment from contamination and static generated by people, which is the leading source of these issues in cleanrooms. This system helps mitigate electrostatic charges that can damage products and equipment while attracting unwanted particles, thereby enhancing the manufacturing process. The boot features TX4000 ESD grid fabric composed of 99% polyester and 1% carbon, a PSTAT ESD hard sole with twill reinforcement, and a durable Hypalon side wall. It includes a combination of 1" elastic and webbing at the top of the closure with a snap adjustment for a secure fit, as well as a replaceable 18" internal ground ribbon attachment, with an optional 24" long ground ribbon available for use. Internal snaps allow for electrical connection to the coverall and ground ribbon, and color-coded straps indicate size. These boots are reusable and launderable, certified for use in ISO cleanrooms of class ISO 6 (Class 1000), and meet the ANSI/ESD S20.20 and STM9.1 standards for footwear with resistive characterization.
