The ESD hard sole boot with ground ribbons is designed for mobile users in controlled environments focused on static control. This Transforming Technologies TX4000 ESD cleanroom garment system provides protection from the primary source of contamination and static in cleanrooms: people. The system is essential in maintaining control over electrostatic charges, which can degrade or destroy products and equipment while attracting unwanted particles. Key features include TX4000 ESD grid fabric composed of 99% polyester and 1% carbon, a PSTAT ESD hard sole reinforced with twill, and a Hypalon side wall. The boot features a combination of a 1" elastic and webbing at the top of the closure, complete with snap adjustment for a secure fit. An included 18" replaceable internal ground ribbon attachment, along with an option for a 24" long ground ribbon, ensures effective grounding. Internal snaps facilitate electrical connection to the coverall and ground ribbon, while color-coded straps indicate size. The boots are reusable and launderable, comply with ISO cleanroom standards (ISO 6 or Class 1000), and meet ANSI/ESD S20.20 and STM9.1 standards for footwear. Resistive characterization is also a notable specification.
