The Guardian U-Lift tables incorporate essential safety features from the low-profile Guardian series lift tables, providing increased versatility for tall pallet applications and accommodating operator height differences. The "U" shaped low-profile design is optimized for handling wire baskets, containers, and both plastic and wooden open bottom pallets, allowing loading with a 21" wide manual or electric pallet truck without requiring a loading ramp. This design eliminates the need for a floor pit, thereby reducing installation costs and removing potential tripping hazards associated with ramps. The tables include features such as a safety perimeter on the upper platform to prevent descent upon contact, a low-tension (24V) control box equipped with up-down buttons, an electric circuit reset button, an external power pack with a relief valve for overload protection, a compensated flow valve for controlling lowering speed, and an upper limit switch. The external power pack comes with 8' long hoses, and the system is designed to operate at 115 volts single phase. Additional safety mechanisms include single acting cylinders with a drainage system, a check valve to prevent lowering in the event of a hose burst, safety clearance between scissors to avoid trapping during operations, mechanical blocks for safe maintenance, self-lubricating bushings at pivot points, and removable lifting eye(s) for easy installation of the lift table.
