It is powered by a robust 1.5 max horsepower brushless motor that maintains constant speed under demanding conditions, with a variable speed dial offering six settings ranging from 16,000 to 31,000 RPM. The quick-release collars allow for easy and reliable depth adjustments accurate to 1/64 inch.
