The new JET 6" benchtop jointer provides a smooth and consistent cut surface thanks to its use of 14 carbide tipped helical head blades. It features heavy duty cast iron tables and a fully adjustable cast iron fence that enhances the cutting experience. Key features include a fully adjustable fence with locking stops at +/- 45 degrees for beveling, an internal dust collection system, and a safety black and push stick. The jointer is equipped with a powerful 1HP 15 amp motor that turns the cutter head at 10,000 RPM. It also includes a highly visible scale for accurate depth of cut adjustments along with a front mounted toggle switch featuring a removable safety key. The unit has a six inch jointing capacity within a small footprint and comes with a large dust collection bag that has a quick empty zipper. The jointer complies with relevant safety standards and has the necessary certifications for professional use.
