The 6 jointer features a cutterhead with three auto-set knives that automatically align themselves for rapid knife changes. It includes oversized 66" long adjustable infeed and outfeed tables mounted on dovetailed ways, providing more working surface and a built-in ledge for 1/2" rabbeting capacity. The fence measures 38" in length, is two-way tilting, and has positive stops for quick positioning at 90° or 45° right and left bevel cuts. A fine/quick adjustment lever on the infeed table allows for precision-controlled depth of cut and quick setups. The heavy steel stand is an enlarged sheet metal design that provides a sturdy base. The jointer is powered by a 1 HP motor equipped with a non-slip V-belt drive for maximum performance. Safety features include a lockable push button switch to prevent accidental starting. For dust management, the jointer has a 4" dust port that offers easy connection to any dust collection system.
